No time to write much today, but keeping with my pledge to write every single day, here I am. I am feeling quite happy right now. Partly because of this:
And also because there is a brand new dishwasher in my kitchen and I am patiently awaiting the delivery of the new stainless fridge to match this beauty. Tomorrow I will be baking cakes. Plural.
But more exciting than the new appliances, I am going out to dinner this evening with Ruanita, my two sisters, and my sister-in-law. Dinner is in honor of my birthday. I will be turning 40 on Friday....but that is a blog for another day.
Today I am 39.
And the proud owner of all new kitchen appliances.
And this evening, I will be inhaling copious amount of fresh pasta and wine.
And Ruanita just turned to me while watching "The Lord of the Rings" on television and said, "I just really love you." Out of the blue. For no apparent reason (I hope it was not because Golum reminded her of me).
Life is pretty damn good some days.

Wow I had no idea you were going to be 40. I thought you were much younger. Congrats on all your new appliances. Love you lots.
40 is awesome! You'll love it. It sounds like the approach to 40 is pretty damn good so far.
